A small school with a big, beating heart.

Norfolk House School and Nursery is a leading London preparatory school for boys and girls aged 2-11. Our Nursery is located in a beautifully converted three-storey Victorian house in Princes Avenue, Muswell Hill. In Form 2, our pupils move from our Princes Avenue PrePrep site into the Junior Prep department in our school on Muswell Avenue and join our Form 3 pupils.

We are proud of the outstanding quality of education and pastoral care programmes for our children. The school takes great pride in its happy and warm environment, where each pupil is valued and supported. Pupils at Norfolk House are nurtured and guided through school life; we aim to stimulate and inspire our children, develop their interests and equip them with lifelong learning skills.

Our latest school inspection said that "exceptionally positive attitudes to learning are evident across the school." It went on to state that "the quality of the pupils' academic and other achievements is excellent" and that our "pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education" at the end of their time at Norfolk House.

We are committed to ensuring that your child thrives, enjoys school to the fullest, and realises their potential. Their experience at Norfolk House, from the small class sizes to the highly personalised learning provision, has been carefully curated to nurture and grow the unique person within.

At Norfolk House, we view academic excellence and personal growth not as competing priorities but as profoundly interdependent outcomes of quality education. A glance at our leavers' destinations demonstrates that London's leading senior schools consistently see the contribution and potential that Norfolk House pupils offer.

Though the prospect may seem distant now, we know that our pupils today will become the adult role models of tomorrow. To equip them for the fast-changing world in which they will grow up is a duty in which we take great pride. Our future-facing curriculum and time-tested values support pupils to develop into flourishing individuals, developing both self-efficacy and a life-long curiosity about the world and those with whom they share it.
