St Augustine's Priory is Ealing's top performing Catholic girls' school, rated 'Outstanding' in all areas in the Westminster Diocesan Report in 2016. We are experts in educating girls and we are relentlessly dedicated to preparing girls to be highly effective women in the workplace and in the world.
St Augustine's is a unique London school set in 13 acres of beautiful grounds looking out over the Thames Valley to the North Downs. Here girls have the physical, mental and emotional freedom to grow intellectually in an environment which both supports and provides plenty of challenges. Our results are excellent and we pride ourselves on instilling in girls a love of learning.
We are a Catholic school which means that the care of the whole person is at the core of what we do. Founded in 1634 in France, St Augustine's Priory has nearly 400 years' experience of educating children and, until the mid-1990s, was led by a community of Augustinian nuns. We are proud to continue their legacy and cherish their heritage, our children are their heirs. Each child is valued, each a treasured individual with potential and talent. We pride ourselves on producing well-rounded young women, people who, when they emerge from the community that is St Augustine's Priory, are ready to serve and contribute to the wider community and lead lives enriched by their experience at this school.
To this end we seek, develop and retain the best teachers who value well-being and the individual progress of each girl as much as they are relentless in their pursuit of academic excellence. Their goal is life-long success for each girl and they set the pace of energy and dynamism within which the girls flourish.
We know that self-knowledge and an awareness of how we work with and affect others is crucial to mental health and success in the workplace. We are passionate about our work!
