The Hampshire School, Chelsea, London, is an independent school for boys and girls aged 3-11. Sheltered beneath the architectural grandeur of the former Chelsea Public Library, this historic setting just off King's Road, with its expansive library, plays host to an enviable amount of space, with a desirable play area and impressive climbing structure.

As you walk through the halls of The Hampshire School, you will grasp how academically rigorous and community-focused the school is, with brilliant pupil work on display, in all subjects, where children are free to flourish at their own pace.

Last September, after being awarded an ISI Inspection of the highest honour, the Hampshire School was fortunate enough to appoint new Head, Richard Lock. Richard is ambitious about the future of the school. With a focus on providing high-quality teaching and learning, outstanding co-curricular provision and raising ambition for each child at every stage.

Richard comments: "It is wonderful to take the reins of a particularly wonderous school. Aim high (our school motto) is a fundamental element of the broad and rigorous academic curriculum at the Hampshire School. I look forward to leading the school forward over the coming years"

The Hampshire School Chelsea is a school with unparalleled joy, with children seizing their opportunities to be recognised for achievements, whether on the stage, on the sports field, in lessons or more. The school boasts brilliant facilities, with specialist science lessons in the extensively resourced science laboratory. The school also has a purpose-built Music and Drama room, fittingly named after the founders of the school known as 'The Anne and Susan Hampshire Music and Drama room' with their distinguished careers in the performing arts.

At The Hampshire School, we want children to flourish, that's why we offer extracurricular clubs, allowing pupils to further their talents, learn hidden skills and develop themselves in the school setting. We also provide wrap-around care to give parents extra flexibility with their child's provision.
