Churcher's College

Churcher's College is an independent day school for girls and boys aged 3 to 18 which delivers an inspiring education with opportunities for pupils to flourish and grow both inside and outside the classroom. We enjoy recognition as one of the most accomplished independent, co-educational day schools in the country.

Limitless Potential

We offer pupils the widest range of experiences and opportunities to excel. Our aim is to develop the full academic, creative and sporting talents of the girls and boys, within the context of social awareness, fully preparing them to make informed decisions on issues they will face in today's dynamic and challenging world. We nurture the children to be fittingly prepared for their futures, ready to succeed in life.

Pastoral Care is at the heart of all that we do

Our welcoming, nurturing and secure environment ensures that every pupil feels valued and supported, thus enabling them to succeed academically, and in the many and varied extra-curricular activities that are on offer.

Our pastoral system is one based upon excellent interactions, both formal and informal, between pupils and staff. Our pupils have a wide range of adults in the school community to whom they can talk, and who will have concern and compassion for them.

Another key feature of our pastoral provision is a strong partnership between school and home. Open dialogue with parents is actively encouraged, and contributes significantly to maintaining the happiness and wellbeing of our pupils.

Perhaps most importantly, Churcher's pupils also share problems with each other, and are incredibly supportive, tolerant and understanding of their peers; we see this as one of the defining characteristics of our school.

A countryside location

Just one hour from London, the school is located on two beautiful countryside campus sites in Hampshire, on the borders of Surrey and West Sussex. Our Junior School and Nursery is nestled in leafy Liphook, just ten minutes from the Senior School and Sixth Form in Petersfield, both boast generous on-site playing fields and unrivalled facilities in green and open countryside locations.

Our community

Churcher's is proud to be an inclusive school where parents, children, staff and friends all contribute to the rich and broad education provided.

"The quality of the pupils' personal development... academic and other activities is excellent" ISI Inspection 2022

"Big enough to give a broad offering but small enough to know and care." Churcher's Parent

"I know I have made life-long friends and have built the strongest platform to start my next chapter, which I am so thankful for." Sixth Form Student
