Y5 at Churcher's College Junior School ventured out to The Selborne Study Centre to experience plant life cycles first-hand, among the flora and fauna of the surrounding countryside.
Churcher’s College Junior School pupils were enthralled by a day of workshops lead by the dynamic Rob Hughes from Learning Performance. The children considered how they learn and how they could improve their study skills.
Churcher’s College pupil, Tom Bloomer, has been awarded the U16 Keast Award by Hampshire Rugby Football Union (RFU). The Keast Award is in recognition of commitment, dedication and made to a player who shows true qualities of sportsmanship. The Trophy and Tankard for this Award were presented by Mr Keast at the Hampshire RFU AGM.
Jack Stubbings (U6th) and Tom Smith (Year 5) were selected to represent the South of England (Wessex Leopards) at U17 and U15 level respectively in the England Hockey Future’s Cup, held over a glorious August Bank Holiday Weekend in St Albans.
With the mixture of old and new, with the letter grades and number grades intermingled, it is much more complicated this year to assess how well everyone has done in the GCSE exams, but there are one or two indisputable statistics which show some stellar performances at Churcher's College.
