Forest Park Preparatory School provides an excellent educational start for your child. It is a unique school underpinned by core values that support the development of every child.

Rated 'Excellent' in all areas within our most recent Inspection Report (2019), this is a school where children are inspired and challenged from their very first day with us. Challenged to think independently and creatively, to enjoy and participate fully in their learning, and to achieve their full potential.

There is a real sense of belonging and family at Forest Park. From their first days in Pre Prep, children encourage one another to live the school motto, 'I can and I will'. In our warm and supportive environment, children learn to value themselves and each other, to take risks and responsibility, to learn from their mistakes and build on their successes year by year.

With a broad and exciting curriculum, and supported and encouraged by excellent specialist teachers, our children steadily build knowledge and understanding, key skills and a robust work ethic year on year. When the time comes, they are able to take senior school entrance exams for the local state and independent grammar schools comfortably in their stride, without the pressures of intensive preparation.

We are dedicated to ensuring our children succeed with their 11+ examinations, without undue pressure.

As a result, our pupils gain places in the region's top grammar schools, with 100% recently passing for a school of their choice last year. Most importantly, every child is ready for the next step, confident, optimistic, and ready and willing to make the most of all the opportunities life presents.

Parents choose Forest Park Preparatory School because they want their children to be happy and to develop in a dynamic and challenging, yet caring environment.
