Glenesk School is a unique dedicated Nursery and Pre-Prep that specialises in educating children from 2-7 years old. The school is set in a lovely village location in East Horsley and we are a small school with wonderful age-appropriate facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool and sports fields. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming start to school life. Our small class sizes and high staff ratios ensure that your son or daughter will receive the individual attention and support that they need at such a crucial time in their development.

Glenesk Nursery is a friendly, family orientated environment where children from the age of two are welcomed. The nursery is situated next door to the main school with a wonderful open plan layout, which encourages free flow play and provides the perfect setting for developing your toddler’s natural instinct to play and learn. Morning, afternoon or full day sessions are offered.

From Rising Reception through to Year 2 we stimulate your child’s development through communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. We provide a secure, stimulating and happy environment in which our pupils can thrive and nearly 90% leave the Early Years stage with results matching or above the national averages.

As Glenesk is the only independent Pre-Prep school in the local area, we are able to offer invaluable, impartial advice about the next stage of your child’s education, when they are ready to move on at the end of Year 2. Our children are well prepared for entry into their school of choice at age 7 and go on to the best Surrey Preparatory Schools. Our boys and girls leave us brimming with confidence and ready for the next challenge.

We provide excellent wraparound care from 7.45am-6.00pm. At our last SIS Inspection in March 2017 we were delighted to receive ‘Outstanding in all Areas’.
