Hall Grove is different to most schools. It is genuinely a family school, owned and managed by the same family since its foundation 60 years ago. It enjoys a beautiful parkland setting with 40 acres of its own grounds, yet is within easy reach of West London being just 20 miles from Richmond via the M3. Daily transport is provided from London and the local area. Monday to Friday flexi boarding is also a popular option.

Pastoral care is exceptional. Hall Grove is a strong community with happy children and supportive parents. We foster a real 'can-do' attitude amongst the pupils; all children are encouraged to take full advantage of the many wide-ranging activities including tailored learning in our purpose built outdoor classroom, bushcraft, riding, gardening, golf and tennis.

Further enrichment is provided by regular visits to Battisborough House, our own field study centre on the beautiful Devon coast. There are many educational outings as well as sports expeditions overseas for our tennis, rugby, netball and cricket teams. Our Choristers travel across the UK and abroad to perform, and feature on national radio. All children enjoy a varied performing arts programme as part of the curriculum, participating in musical theatre, dance and drama lessons, year group productions and a themed drama week in the Upper School. LAMDA lessons are also offered.

Academic standards are high: in recent years pupils won major scholarships to Bradfield, Charterhouse, Eton, Hampton, St George's, Wellington, Westminster and Whitgift. There is an outstanding Classics department that regularly achieves top grades for its pupils in Greek and Latin. Science and Technology are popular subjects.
