In our centenary year, Halliford School continues to be a warm-hearted School based on strong family values where we are proud to know and be respectful of every student as an individual. Our aim is to enable each of our students to become the very best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
As young Hallifordians, we recognise that a child’s potential could lie anywhere – so we ensure that every student is exposed to a vast array of opportunities and experiences. We then pride ourselves on identifying and honing their strengths to make the most of their natural abilities, while assisting in every way to develop any areas that might need further improvement. We are able to offer small class sizes which enable personalised teaching and suitable learning strategies. Our co-educational Sixth Form then provides all our students with the skills to excel in a more independent environment as they prepare to continue their educational journey beyond the Halliford School community.
We recognise that the environment in which a child learns is just as important as what they learn. Renowned for our outstanding pastoral care, we work hard to create a community where our students can come together, where they are encouraged to flourish, where they can feel safe and comfortable, confident and proud, stimulated and inspired and, most of all, happy. We are extremely fortunate as a small school to have many outstanding facilities on our beautiful site nestled alongside the River Thames. The last two years have also seen the start of a significant development plan to enhance the facilities we offer our students to provide them with the very best environment in which to learn.
At Halliford School, we seek to be both academically ambitious as well as academically sensitive. We challenge and support our students to make the most of their abilities and show them how to take responsibility for their progress. Students who need additional support are identified and nurtured to achieve their very best in our well-established learning support unit. We also give our students every opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide variety of co-curricular activities which range from rock band and basketball to Spanish and model engineering.
We have a wide range of coach services covering Kew, Richmond, Esher, Cobham, Hampton Court, Woking, Staines and Wraysbury. We also run a shuttle service from Walton-on-Thames Station which connects with Surbiton in 7 minutes and Woking in 12 minutes.
There is no better way to experience the distinctive culture and ethos of our Halliford School than to visit us. Book a visit and tour at www.hallifordschool.co.uk or call the Registrar, Mrs Fran Clatworthy, on 01932 223593 for more information.
