King's High is an independent GSA girls' school comprising up to 700 pupils, ages of 11 to 18 years. Judged 'Excellent' in all areas in our recent ISI inspection report, King's High has an enviable academic reputation coupled with an unusually wide range of supra-curricular activities.

Best of Both Worlds

We believe that our girls obtain the best of both worlds, being educated within a single-sex environment, whilst reaping co-educational benefits from our close links with Warwick School, our brother school in the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation. We have over 130 co-curricular activities on offer in conjunction with Warwick School, together with a Joint Activities Programme in the Sixth Form.

We strive to provide an exceptional educational environment, especially tailored to girls, where each girl will flourish, growing into a well-rounded, well-educated, confident, spirited and compassionate young woman. This was recognised in the ISI Report: 'Pupils' exceptional achievements cross a very wide range of academic, creative and sporting activities.'

Outstanding teachers who inspire the girls in their subjects are key to achieving this. Class sizes vary by Key Stage, generally being smaller further up the school to reflect the more individual needs of girls as they approach public examinations. King’s High is ranked Fifth in the West Midlands Region independent schools with 86% A*-B, 54% A*-A, for GCSE 73% grades 9-7 and 99% grades 9-4.

Project One Campus

For the first time in the history of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, Project One Campus has brought together every pupil in King’s High, Warwick Preparatory School and Warwick School on one spacious, green campus.

The Foundation is unique in the Midlands, offering co-education for our pupils aged 3 to 7, and single-sex education from age 7 onwards. We believe that this offers the best of both worlds for our pupils: teaching specifically tailored to their needs with extensive opportunities to collaborate outside the classroom.

Project One Campus has enhanced this unique educational journey, by providing world-class facilities and further opportunities for our pupils to work together.

Brand new state-of-the-art facilities: the King's educational buildings provide a stunning new home for our girls. As well as the main school buildings, the new school also includes A Sports and Technology 'wrap-around' built onto the existing Bridge Sports Centre.

A purpose-built, high-tech Music School for Warwick Prep and King's High, will include practice rooms and performance spaces. Sports facilities on the campus have been further enhanced by a new 3G pitch and an additional suite of five netball and six tennis courts.

Shared Sixth Form Centre

The new Sixth Form Centre, shared with Warwick School, has been designed to help our pupils make the most of their Sixth Form years, and support their transition to life beyond school. The ground floor, a large social space, includes a café and self-service kitchen as well as offices for the Heads of Sixth Form. The Careers Hub, interview rooms and group study spaces are found on the first floor. There are private study spaces on the top floor, along with an outside terrace – the perfect place to take a break between studies. For more information visit www.projectonecampus.co.uk

Aspire, Achieve, Enjoy

King's High is committed to providing an enjoyable, safe and stimulating environment in which girls will grow into confident and secure young women. We cater for a wide range of girls with individual skills, needs and interests, placing immense value on the importance of personal choice and happiness. In addition to the support of all members of staff, each pupil receives specific pastoral care from her form tutor and her Head of Key Stage, under the guidance of our Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Head Master. Together with our Nurse and our Wellbeing Mentor, these members of staff deal with the key areas of health, day-to-day wellbeing and specific pastoral, academic and recreational guidance.

We respond to particular needs flexibly and positively, looking to fully support and develop each girl’s life skills, as well as her talents.

Our School motto, "Aspire, Achieve, Enjoy," celebrates the enjoyment, fun and accomplishment our girls enjoy at King's.
