Lanesborough Prep School for boys is located in the centre of Guildford, and offers a superb range of facilities. A fabulous new Sports Hall has just been completed extending the range of sports available to the boys, it has a viewing gallery and extensive changing rooms. A dedicated performance space provides outstanding facilities for both drama and music.

The academic success of Lanesborough is renowned, with boys regularly achieving academic, music and sports scholarships to their chosen senior school.

The superb music tradition is enhanced with the cathedral boy choristers all attending the school. Over 50 different clubs from Astronomy to Warhammer are on offer enabling the boys to develop a wide range of interests. However, the most important aspect for all staff is ensuring that the boys thrive, are happy and reach their full potential in a stimulating, fun and caring environment.

Lanesborough is about learning how to learn, not just what to learn, developing a range of interests and preparing the young men so that they are interesting and interested citizens, resilient and ready to take their place in our ever evolving world.

To fully appreciate Lanesborough you will need to visit and experience first-hand, all that is on offer. We have bursaries and choral scholarships available from Year 3.

Open Mornings are held in October and March - check the website for full details. Alternatively, parents can arrange an individual tour with the Head. Please call Mrs Francis, Admissions Secretary, on 01483 880489, admissions@lanesborough.surrey.sch.uk.
