Success breeds success. Moyles Court is an inherently happy place, and if pupils are happy, they learn well and go on to enjoy that sense of achievement. Being one of the smaller independent day and boarding schools, we are able to nurture each and every pupil; allowing bigger achievers to accelerate, while helping others do better than they may have thought possible. Traditional good manners are tantamount and these traditional values are bred into the school’s ethos.
Moyles Court School is housed in a 16th Century Manor house, near Ringwood and set within the beautiful New Forest National Park for pupils from 3 to 16 years. We offer individualised learning and traditional core values developed by a dedicated team. The small class sizes allow our teachers to provide a high level of individualised care and attention for every child.
Whilst benefitting from being near the transport links, the school is in a peaceful 14 acre setting, surrounded by woodland streams, lakes and forest ponies. It is a safe and beautiful rural environment, in which to study and live, which comprises of both excellent academic teaching and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.
The excellent teaching and individualised learning environment enables all pupils to make huge academic progress. We are always immensely proud of our pupils’ GCSE results each year where excellent performance, significant ‘value added’ and achievement across the full ability range and beyond is a treasured characteristic of our annual success. In recent years our GCSE results have seen an increasing number of pupils achieving A* and A grades. It is a school with a high academic standing and scholarships are available to outstanding students.
The boarding environment at Moyles Court School aims to provide a welcoming and supportive setting where boarders can flourish and develop within a safe campus environment. Boarders are given opportunities to develop a positive attitude to study, and to be aware of how important it is to contribute to their local community. Support of other boarders is strongly encouraged and students of all ages develop solid bonds with each other and also with the Houseparents, which can last for many years after they leave Moyles Court.
Please do come and see for yourselves what wonderful work happens here every day and would like to share with you the fabulous atmosphere that we are so proud of at Moyles Court School. We look forward to welcoming you at an Open Morning or on an individual visit.
