Northcote Lodge is an all-boy preparatory school in South West London which offers the very best in modern education within a traditional setting to ensure that we bring out the best in boys. Part of family-owned and family-oriented Northwood Schools which includes our sibling schools, Broomwood Hall Lower and Upper schools, Northcote Lodge is unique within London; it offers all the benefits of a country education without leaving town: we're large enough to offer an education of real substance but small enough to ensure that no boy slips through the net.

Our focus is on educating the 'whole boy' so each boy can find something that excites and motivates him, whether this be drama, reading, science, maths, ICT, sports, music or art.

We have invested in Sport and the staff within the department include FA, RFU, and ECB qualified staff with a wealth of experience of playing sport to a high level. We aim to inspire our pupils to enjoy and work hard in all sports, offering a high quality and wide varied sporting programme for all. Alongside academic excellence, we also place great value on manners and respect for others. It is these softer, but essential skills that will equip a boy for life beyond his senior school into a future workplace where collaboration, creativity and innate self-confidence will matter more than ever.

We offer plenty of extra-curricular opportunities and the benefit of doing all written homework at school so that come 6.00pm a boy can go home and relax, knowing his day's work is done.

Whilst some boys do leave at 11, most leave us at 13 and regularly win places and scholarships in all subjects to some of the country's leading public schools - both day and boarding.
