Oakfields Preparatory School is an independent day school in Upminster offering a tailor-made, education for boys and girls, aged 3 to 11.

Set in a Grade II-listed mansion with bright and airy classrooms within seven acres of stunning grounds, our children have the space to learn and grow. We believe in a holistic school culture, which prioritises the education of the whole child through creative, independent and broad-based learning. Along with striving for academic excellence, we promote an energetic and diverse range of extra-curricular activities, along with enrichment programmes dedicated to increasing learning opportunities for all children. Our pupils go on to record highly impressive results in tests and exams for entry into senior school. For sports, we have a floodlit court, which we use for a variety of sports, including Tennis, Netball and Hockey. We also have an indoor heated swimming pool on-site, with excellent changing facilities, where all our children from the summer term of Pre-Prep upwards have swimming lessons, led by specialist teachers.

For the convenience of our parents, we provide excellent wraparound care from 7:30am - 5:45pm.
