Congratulations to Kingswood School Year 9 pupil, Crystal, who has achieved her Science CREST Bronze Award for her investigation titled “Which crisps are crispiest?”, completed during the Spring Term last year.

Over the course of her project, Crystal worked as part of a team designing their own investigation and recording their findings before independently processing and evaluating her results.

After thoroughly testing a number of crisps in a range of different experiments, Crystal’s investigation found Walkers Ready Salted Crisps to be the crispiest (other less crispy crisp brands are available).

The project process develops enquiry, problem-solving and communication skills and gives students a taste of what it is like to be a scientist or engineer in the real-world.

Well done to Crystal on this excellent achievement!
