Priory School Year 11 leavers' event

Posted on 30th Jun 2022 in School News

It was with great joy that the Y11 leavers from Priory School of Our Lady of Walsingham were able to take their traditional farewell to the whole school on Friday June 24th.

The red carpet was rolled out, the limousine was ready and to a rousing chorus of voices, instruments and bells this year’s cohort were seen off to their celebratory supper with their invited tutors at Lakeside Park. As the Head Girl said so well, it was a “bittersweet” moment as they said goodbye to tutors and friends and classmates.

This Y11 bore the brunt of their studies being interrupted by two years of Covid so it was also a moment to mark that they had finally come through all that to take their exams and restore their education.

A farewell to remember!
