Record-breaking regional art success for DLD College London

DLD College London is celebrating high acclaim and recognition after competing in a well-respected, national creative competition.

Talented students from the Westminster Bridge-based college excelled at the much-anticipated ISA Art Competition for London West area, fighting off stiff competition to take home a record-breaking 17 awards.

The determined cohort of students submitted their final masterpieces, following weeks of perseverance and hard work, with a variety of impressive photography, sketch books, 2D art and drawings amongst the entries. In recognition of the outstanding artistic flair of DLD students, at least one highly commendable win was secured in each of the categories entered.

DLD College London Principal Irfan Latif commented, ‘It is always a pleasure to celebrate the achievements of our students. We are incredibly proud of them for this record-breaking success, for which they have showcased remarkable creativity and pure talent.

‘It was inspiring to see the variety of the artwork submitted and this is testament to our successful arts provision here at DLD College London. We are proud of the department's 100% record in placing students onto art courses on completion of their A level studies, and look forward to seeing how our students continue to thrive in this creative industry.’

DLD College London is housed in highly contemporary, purpose-built premises in the heart of London, on 199 Westminster Bridge Road, overlooking the Palace of Westminster and the River Thames.

The college offers students the chance to study a wide range and flexible combination of A levels, BTEC courses, International Foundation Programmes (IFP) and GCSEs.
