Remembrance Day is always a significant event in the Hazlegrove calendar. In the lead up to this year's service, pupils were busy making ceramic poppies, designing and creating poppies in Design and Technology and handling artefacts from WW1.
The Hazlegrove Pre-Prep curriculum took on a distinctively applely flavour on Apple Day. Weighing, rolling, peeling apples and measuring the length of the skin replaced the usual maths lessons and the creation of apple joke books was a big hit.
