Hazlegrove Prep School riders enjoyed a bumper crop of results when they took part in the Jumping Competition at the popular county event, Bath and West Show and later the National Schools Equestrian Association National Finals at the All England Jumping Course, Hickstead.

The children competed against much older riders at the Bath and West Show and were amongst 15 teams and 65 individuals, whilst at Hickstead, they competed against 53 other schools. The two Hazlegrove teams performed exceptionally well in the highly competitive two-day event. Head of Games Mrs Katie Cobb said, ‘The riders jumped really well in the big arena – jumping water, devils dykes, steps and banks as well as the usual mixture of show jumps and cross country fences. We finished in first and second place at the end of day one and had an eighth placing overall. We are exceptionally proud of their performance and more importantly the effort and hard work that they put in to get there.’
