Children in Need – Sixth Form Fundraiser
Posted on 9th Dec 2025 in School News
The annual Children in Need fancy dress day saw the Sixth Former Centre full of weird and wonderful characters with both staff and pupils participating. Dominating the scene was a magnificent giant pterodactyl with the pupil valiantly battling to manoeuvre through school corridors and the cobbles of Rochester. A spirited contingent of cowboys and cowgirls brought the Wild West to the school halls while the cast of Shrek were looking Shrek-tacular. Perhaps the most unexpected sight was a solemn group of disciples, whose traditional robes and serious expressions were immediately undermined by the sheer absurdity of posing for pictures next to a Rubik’s Cube, a banana, a sailor and Benson Boone. Well done to all our Sixth Formers for their gallant efforts in supporting Children in Need and congratulations to Oscar H, dressed as the chef from Shrek, who Mr Fisher picked as the winner!
