Over the past academic year, our pupils and staff have worked tirelessly to support our chosen charity for 2024/25, The Atlas Foundation. Thanks to their creativity and energy an impressive £13,888 has been raised, and this week we were delighted to welcome in representatives from The Atlas Foundation to celebrate this achievement.
Fundraising activities took many different forms from non-uniform days, cake sales and the Runathon, to the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race and the much-loved Farmer Boules Competition. Each event brought people together in the spirit of fun, challenge and shared purpose, all while contributing to the overall total.
The Atlas Foundation is a remarkable charity that empowers disadvantaged young people across the world through rugby. By creating opportunities, building communities and offering guidance, Atlas helps young people overcome obstacles and look towards a brighter future.
We have greatly valued our partnership with Atlas this year and are proud to have contributed to their work.
Looking ahead, the process of choosing our 2025/26 school charity is already under way. Whatever the final choice, we know that our pupils will bring the same energy, enthusiasm and commitment to next year's fundraising efforts.
