Dauntsey’s show-jumping team has won the National Schools’ Championship at the All England Showground at Hickstead, beating schools from across the country in an exciting jump-off. The team of four from Dauntsey’s battled through to secure one of six places in the final round, winning on a time difference of just five seconds.

Lucinda Fredericks, equestrian athlete and Olympic medallist who coaches the Dauntsey’s team, said: ‘What a fantastic time I had with the Dauntsey’s equestrian team at Hickstead! I was so proud to watch the team I coach become the National Schools Equestrian Association 1m Elite Team Champions – well done!’

Mark Lascelles, Head Master of Dauntsey’s, added: ‘This is a tremendous achievement by all involved.’
