World Cup fever has arrived at DLD College London with its striking new ‘food from around the world’ restaurant décor, in celebration of the major tournament and in recognition of its impressively international daily menu.

Home to 55 student nationalities, Westminster-based DLD College London, is proud of its global appeal, and the timing of this latest investment in its refectory with the newly decorated walls carrying the world map ties in perfectly with the hosting of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

DLD College London Principal Irfan Latif comments: ‘Our students come to us from all over the world – an environment which lends itself perfectly to lots of jovial discussion as the football games are broadcast. The fresh new look in the College Refectory couldn’t be timed better!’

‘Many of the qualifying country teams are reflected here at the college with our multicultural and diverse intake. We have many Russian, Iranian and German students, as well as English students here at DLD so Groups A, B, F and G matches will be very popular here.’

Founded in 1931, DLD College London is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in the UK, and since its foundation has built a strong reputation amongst students, parents, schools and universities.

In September 2015, DLD College London relocated to brand new, purpose-built premises in the heart of London, on 199 Westminster Bridge Road, overlooking Westminster and the River Thames.

The college offers students the chance to study a wide range and flexible combination of A-Levels, GCSEs, International Foundation courses and BTEC courses.
