DLD College London is jubilant after having been placed in the top 5% of colleges in England, based on student progress in academic performance.

In the Department of Education’s recently published performance tables*, the college was recognised for its remarkable advancement made by individual students between the end of Key Stage 4 and upon completing their A level studies. Also known as value-added scores, the results compare similar students across the nation to determine the positioning of each college.

DLD College London Principal Irfan Latif commented: ‘We are delighted to be commended as one of the top 5% of colleges nationally for the significant step change in student attainment from when they joined the college to the results they achieve at A level.

‘This much-coveted ranking reflects the outstanding accomplishments by both our students and dedicated teaching staff, in addition to our small class sizes enabling us to deliver the most effective method of learning.’

This follows hot on the heels of DLD College London celebrating a sensational A level pass rate of 99% in 2017 – with A*-A grades up in 2017 to 41% from 38% in 2016, A*-AB up to 70% from 63% and A*-ABC up to 87% from 84%.

Those interested in finding out more about the college can attend the next open evening on Wednesday 28 February 2018, 5pm – 7pm by pre-booking at: www.dldcollege.co.uk/dld/students-at-dld/admissions-for-students/open-days/
