Haberdashers’ Adams is delighted to announce another excellent set of A-Level results. A total of 164 Sixth Form pupils successfully completed their A-Levels, with 74% of pupils achieving A*- B grades and 47% achieving A*- A grades.

In addition to their A-levels, 112 of our A-level pupils also took the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) with an impressive 77% achieving an A*- B grade (up from 42% in 2024). The qualification is great preparation for those wishing to continue their studies at university, involving extensive research on a chosen subject, a 5000-word dissertation and a 10-minute presentation on their project.

Headmaster Gary Hickey, said: “These outstanding results reflect the dedication and perseverance of our pupils, supported every step of the way by our exceptional teachers and staff. At Haberdashers’ Adams, our pupils have not only achieved academic excellence but have also grown into confident, capable individuals ready to embrace the future. We wish them every success in the next chapter.”

There were some exceptional individual successes with three pupils securing four A* grades and three pupils achieving three A* grades. Overall, forty pupils achieved all A*/A grades. Additionally, three pupils have been successful in securing places at the University of Cambridge.

Daniel Biggins, who takes over as Headmaster in September, added: “We are absolutely delighted with this year’s excellent A-level results and incredibly proud of our pupils. They have worked with great determination and resilience, and their achievements are truly deserved. These results are a testament not only to their efforts, but also to the unwavering dedication of our teaching and support staff, who have gone above and beyond to inspire, guide, and nurture each individual. Today, we celebrate not just grades, but the journeys, growth, and futures these young people have ahead of them.”
