Head of DT at Hazlegrove Prep School, Mrs Bonnie Barton, created a production line in her kitchen, in order to make 95 protective face masks for front-line workers, NHS healthcare in prisons and local Doctors surgeries.

Using her design technology skills, Mrs Barton made the most of having her family at home for social distancing and set up a production line in her kitchen in order to make the masks and get them to where there were needed as quickly as possible.

Mrs Barton said, 'We did 45 in a whole family production line that went out on Sat and another 45 made and delivered today. It’s quite emotional how overwhelmingly grateful the staff are when the masks are delivered.'
