Congratulations to Talbot Heath’s Angharad Holloway for being runner-up at the i25 award ceremony, which took place last week at the Waldorf Hilton in London.

The i25 celebrates individuals who are making a remarkable contribution to independent schools and independent education and the i25 awards are an event to recognise the independent school sector’s top 25 leading influencers and innovators who have made a considerable impact. Mrs Holloway was nominated last autumn by Christine Norman, Chair of Governors at Talbot Heath, for the innovative interdisciplinary curriculum that the school is about to introduce. The nominations were reviewed by a panel of expert judges who looked for outstanding examples of either innovation or influence that have had an impact in some way and have captured the imagination of others, changed their behaviours, improved pedagogy and possibly had a measurable positive impact on children.

On hearing the result, Mrs Holloway said, ‘I was so proud to represent Talbot Heath School at the i25 Excellence Awards in London on Thursday. Being named runner up in the UK for most innovative and influential educator of 2018 was a highlight of my career so far.’
