Kew House School pupil’s composition used on advert starring Anthony Joshua OBE

Congratulations to A-Level Music student Zak who has composed an original piece of music which has been chosen as the soundtrack for an advert starring British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua OBE!

Music is deeply embedded into school life at Kew House School, both within and outside of the formal curriculum. First class teaching and state-of-the-art facilities encourage pupils to reach their greatest potential.

Speaking to Zak, he told us: “I'd worked on the (film) shoot for the ad in London and through the crew was able to submit my track - which I'd made at home.

“I ended up doing loads of different versions and went to sound sessions to work on it as it was between mine and another option for the client to choose between. It was really surreal seeing the finished ad for the first time with my music and knowing how many people would watch it on TV.

“I'm keen to pursue a career in film... so doing something like this has been an incredible experience."

Kew House School is incredibly proud of the hard work, time and effort that has been put in by Zak to perfect the piece and ultimately have it selected for the advert. This is a testament to his character and the attitude that we believe is at the heart of education at Kew House School.
