Last Friday, ex-pupil and international pop sensation Mimi Webb returned to King's Rochester.

Mimi was a pupil at King's Rochester Pre-Preparatory School and kindly took time out of her busy touring schedule to visit her old classrooms and meet her old teachers during an afternoon at King's hosted by Head Girl Scarlett Surgeoner and Deputy Head Girl Anna Morgan.

Mimi then hosted a Q&A session with pupils from the Preparatory and Senior Schools, providing a rare glimpse into the world of music-making and the dedication, determination, and spirit required to achieve success in the music world.

She also made a guest appearance in Principal Ben Charles’ weekly vlog who joked: “I was very glad to welcome pop star Mimi Webb back to King’s. I too know of the success of being a top ten artist after my rendition of ‘Back For Good’ went viral earlier this year.”

Mimi Webb said: “It’s been so lovely to be back and to see everyone”.

A TikTok clip of her visit to King’s has been watched over 570,000 times on her official profile.
