Leehurst Swan Year 3 trip to Stonehenge

Posted on 1st May 2018 in School News, School Trips

As part of the Stone Age topic, Leehurst Swan Year 3 enjoyed learning all about Stonehenge by participating in a Neolithic Life workshop. The workshop included rope-making, fence-building and dressing up in clothes from that period. The children also looked at artefacts and land use, as well as investigating different ways to move and raise ‘the stones’.

It was a fun and educational day at this iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, which we are lucky enough to have right on our doorstep.
