The packed online event took place on 11 February 2021 and introduced key members of staff, parents and pupils. With over 70 attendees, the event helped prospective parents to discover a community where the individual matters.

The event covered:

- What a typical day is like in Year 7

- The academic subjects pupils can study

- The sports and co-curricular activities on offer

- What life is like beyond Year 7

- How to register and the process for securing a place

- Why our parents believe that Pangbourne is the best place for their children to learn

Some of the feedback from parents included:

"Just wanted to say thank you for the open evening last night. Out of all the online school open events Pangbourne’s was by far the best and most interactive I have seen. I thought it was really impressive and very informative."

"A quick note to say thank you to you and to all the teachers for this evening’s virtual open event. We thought it was really informative and very well delivered."

"Better chance to meet a variety of teaching staff and bring the school to life. It was very well organised and slick."

"Our daughter has just been accepted into the College for Year 7 this year and she is VERY excited! She loved hearing about everything on offer and especially liked the tour around Dunbar with Dr Hart. We also particularly enjoyed Eva's video tour."

"I thought the whole evening was informative and gave us and our son a good idea of what to expect from Dunbar and beyond."

"Excellent overview of the school. Felt like a real introduction to all the important things about school life and was a brilliant alternative to visiting the school in the current circumstances."
