Pupils at St. Andrew’s School, Rochester are celebrating after being crowned the Medway Mini Youth Games (MYG) 2024–25 Series Champions - a remarkable achievement that reflects months of dedication, teamwork, and outstanding performances.

Over 50 pupils from St. Andrew’s proudly represented the school across a range of sports, including hockey, basketball, badminton, table tennis, swimming, netball, tag rugby, football, cricket, and athletics. Their efforts paid off, with the school securing victories in 6 out of the 10 MYG competitions and placing in the top 4 in three of the remaining four events.

Adding to the celebrations, Year 6 pupil Charlotte made history at the MYG Athletics event on Tuesday, 8th July, by breaking the 100m sprint record with a time of 14.32 seconds. The previous record, set in 2023, was held by another St. Andrew’s pupil, Arianna, making this achievement a proud continuation of the school’s sporting legacy.
