St Faith’s go-kart team triumph at Scottow Enterprise Park 2018

After a challenging start to the day, a coach full of St Faith’s Goblins and a minibus full of go-karts arrived at Scottow Enterprise Park to take part in the second race of the season.

The Goblins had an amazing day, and the following results were a just reward for their excellent teamwork, can-do attitude and general spirit of good humour and positivity.

Our achievements:

  • 1st and 2nd in the Slalom
  • Winners of the Portfolio Award
  • 3rd in the Sprint Race (Rapid Rockets)
  • Overall Winner at the Scottow Enterprise Park 2018

A special mention must go to Harper who fought valiantly through three heats to finish 3rd overall in the Sprint Race. Congratulations to all the Goblins, particularly the Year 5s who have picked up the gauntlet – we look forward to hearing about all their achievements over the next year.

Many thanks to Mrs Oxborough, Mrs Price, Mr Brent, Mr Hasell and Harry, a retired Goblin, for their unfailing good humour and support. We’d also like to thank all the parents who went to watch.

The Goblins final outing will take place on Sunday 8th July at the Top Gear Test Track. The Stig may have met his match!
