On Saturday 21st May we took a handful of boys and girls from St Faith’s to take part in the National IAPS Trampolining Finals at the Royal Russell School in Croydon, South London. We competed in the U9, U11 and U13 age groups and the results were fantastic. We returned to Cambridge with two individual National Champions and three team National Champions.

The results are as follows:

Our U9 Girls A team finished 1st in their category making them National Champions in the team competition. We also had success in the individual competition with Hannah being award 1st place and Phoebe coming in 5th.

Our U9 boys team also came out on top for their age group and were named team National Champions. We also need to say a huge congratulations to our boys who performed superbly in their individual competition also; Max was awarded 2nd place, Harry 3rd and Rueban 5th.

Our U11 boys came 2nd with one member of the team, James, being placed 3rd individually in a very tough competition. In the B team competition our team came 1st whilst our C team finished 2nd in the same event. Many congratulations to Lochie, Harper and Sam.

Unfortunately our U11 Girls A Team finished just outside the medals but our B Team came 3rd in their category.

We are proud to announce that for the third year running our U13 Boys retained their title of National Champions. On top of this success Will became the individual National Champion, with Finn in 2nd place, Freddie in 3rd and Sam in 4th.

Our U13 girls team reached the leaderboard after a fantastic performance and were able to grab 3rd place, with Alex claiming the individual medal for 6th place. And finally, our B team rose to the top of the leaderboard and came first in their competition.

Well done to all our children who competed on the 21st May – it’s safe to say that all our children had a great time and really excelled themselves.
