King's School Rochester: Boarding pupils from School House recently swapped classrooms for puzzles, codes and high-pressure challenges as they took part in a series of immersive escape room adventures.

In Motel California, a team of five pupils raced against the clock to uncover a stash of stolen money hidden by two infamous bank robbers before the police arrived. The game tested quick thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork under pressure.

Another group tackled Survival, where eight players found themselves in a Jurassic-style mission to recover 15 dinosaur embryos after a major incident at “Triassic Park.” With only an hour before NATO’s planned strike on the island, collaboration was vital to save the dinosaurs from extinction for a second time.

Meanwhile, in Citizen Erased, four pupils were transported to the year 2120 and wrongly sentenced to life in an asteroid prison. With only 60 minutes before their shuttle launched into space, they worked together to override complex systems and escape a future behind bars.

All three challenges demanded sharp thinking, creativity, and strong teamwork—skills that pupils rose to with enthusiasm. The evening gave boarders a chance to experience the thrill of adventure while building cooperation and resilience in a fun, engaging way.
