ABOUT US: BROOMWOOD inspires and equips children aged 3-13 to #BeYourBEST. We offer a joyful co-educational pre-prep education at Broomwood Pre-Prep and Little Broomwood, followed by two single-sex, yet highly collaborative prep schools, Broomwood Prep, Boys and Broomwood Prep, Girls which prepare for both 11+ and 13+ exits. Whilst the schools have their own traditions and unique characteristics, we are united by what drives us: a bespoke, dynamic, and rich journey where pupils develop their own passions and talents, as well as being stretched in new directions, so they become the best version of themselves.

Broomwood Prep, Girls prepares for both 11+ & 13+ exits which offers an excellent and rounded education that nurtures and stretches in equal measure. Our winning combination of traditional values and innovative teaching coupled with an exciting enrichment programme challenges and stimulates both breadth and depth of learning. Broomwood girls are happy, confident, rounded individuals who are well prepared for future success.

THE CURRICULUM: A broad and stimulating mastery approach, with technology used at every level fosters a love of learning, bolsters self-confidence, creativity, and critical thinking, helping girls to maximise their potential whilst retaining a friendly and collaborative relationship with Broomwood Prep, Boys.

GAMES & THE ARTS: Sport and the arts are an important part of our curriculum, and we offer a surprisingly wide variety. We place great value on creativity with exceptionally strong music, art, and drama departments. New Art and DT block. On-site cookery school for Years 6 & 7.

PASTORAL CARE: We know that happy children thrive academically. With small class sizes, an excellent tutor system and mindfulness and wellbeing programmes built into the curriculum, we pride ourselves on nurturing the whole child and developing individual strengths so that when girls leave us at 11 or 13, they are confident, happy, well-rounded individuals with a strong sense of purpose.

ADMISSIONS & EXIT: Automatic entry for girls from our pre-prep school if it's the right school for them. Around 6-10 places a year for external candidate at 7 and some at 11. We take pride in the breadth of our curriculum and get wonderful results in all areas with girls regularly winning awards and scholarships at both 11 and 13, in all subjects, to some of the country's best schools, both day and boarding including Alleyn's, Benenden, Emanuel, Marlborough, Bradfield, JAGS, Streatham & Clapham High, Woldingham, Wellington, Cranleigh and King's, Canterbury. On average, around 25 per cent of leavers win awards across all areas: academic, art, music, drama, and sport.

HEAD'S PHILOSOPHY: We prepare for life, not just the next school. Our focus on the essential skills of creativity, critical thinking, resilience, independence and confidence, provides girls with the benefits of a holistic education where everything is important, and each girl is supported and enabled to be and do her best and is prepared for an exciting future.

OUTSTANDING CHARACTERISTICS: Broomwood equips and inspires boys and girls aged 3-13 to #BeYourBEST by giving them the very best of all worlds: a joyful co-educational start to education at the age of 3 or 4 in a bespoke, specialist Early Years centre within a wider school setting. This is followed by a seamless transition to single-sex, yet highly collaborative, prep schools at the age of 7, before departing for some of the best schools in the country at the age of 11 or 13 - both day, boarding, co-ed and single-sex.

Broomwood is part of the wider Dukes Education family. Together we're extraordinary.
