About Us: London Park School Clapham is committed to a fresh approach to education, aiming to provide exceptional, tailored learning experiences to students aged 11-16, and a seamless transition to our Sixth Form in Belgravia for students looking to continue their education to A Levels. Part of the wider London Park Schools group under one Principal, LPS Clapham maintains its unique identity while sharing core values and participating in collaborative activities and initiatives. Together they offer a smaller school experience that deliver 'bigger thinking' and a breath of fresh air in the London market.

The Curriculum: Designed to foster transformative learning experiences and preparing students for the challenges of tomorrow. Emphasising holistic development, we integrate student wellbeing, academic excellence, and community engagement. Through Integrated learning in Years 7-9, students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and motivation, providing the bedrock for success in examinations and beyond. Our focus on Design thinking encourages creativity and problem-solving skills, preparing students for real-world challenges and helping to build an entrepreneurial mindset.

Games & the Arts: We offer a diverse range of sports - many shared with our sibling LPS school, and have many creative outlets, encouraging students to explore their interests and talents. With access to facilities near Clapham Common and local sports grounds, students participate in traditional and alternative sports. Our commitment to the arts is evident in our thriving Art, Design Technology, drama, and film programmes, culminating in annual productions and student-led initiatives.

Pastoral Care: Student wellbeing is paramount. Our comprehensive pastoral care programme is integrated into the curriculum, ensuring every student receives personalised support. Through our tutorial system and Integrated learning approach, students feel valued and supported, fostering a positive learning environment.

Admissions: Main entry is Year 7 with an additional intake in Year 9. Designed to be more humane, we use existing digital data, a sample of creative writing, a confidential reference, and our own 'Discovery Day' to find 'the right fit' rather than relying on the stress of an entrance exam.

Philosophy: We believe in preparing students for an ever-changing world through innovative education and draw on best practices from across the world to provide students with an exciting and empowering educational journey and skills for the future.

Outstanding Characteristics: London Park School Clapham combines the benefits of a smaller, kinder, innovative, and creative community with the power of a larger group for sport and some trips, ensuring every student receives a happy and comprehensive education that's tailored to individual needs. Our focus on character development, collaboration, resilience, and entrepreneurship equips students for success in the modern world. As part of the wider Dukes Education family, we can take advantage of the many wider opportunities available too.
