Set in leafy parkland and benefitting from first rate facilities, Bromley High School provides a beautiful and buzzy environment where bright girls will flourish.
In the classroom, each girl's intellectual potential is challenged and developed by inspirational teachers whose concern for your daughter ranges infinitely beyond her performance in examinations; teachers who have a capacity to develop a love of learning, a spirit of enquiry and an independence of mind. Our girls learn to collaborate and to compete; to be creative and intellectually curious and their learning is underpinned by the school's ethos of achievement for all and by the subject passion, enthusiasm and expertise of their teachers.
In 2016, the school's outstanding teaching earned the rare accolade of an 'Exceptional' rating for Learning and Achievement from the Independent Schools' Inspectorate (ISI). The school's academic results are consistently excellent 85% A*-B at A level in 2016; 88% A*-B in 2015. We are most proud of the school's impressive Value Added results at GCSE and A level which demonstrate the care taken to bring out the best in every girl.
However, outstanding success at Bromley High School is not purely academic. Bromley High girls are resilient and well-rounded young women participating with enthusiasm and commitment in Music, Drama, Art, Sport, Duke of Edinburgh and an overabundant range of activities - and where they have interest or talent or enthusiasm, it is nurtured so that they learn to excel. Sport is exceptional: with 25 acres of top class facilities and multiple teams across a range of sports allowing for both wide participation and elite performance.
Our pastoral care is thoughtful and developmental, actively encouraging girls to develop key attributes: Confidence, Composure, Courage, Compassion and Commitment. Every class takes on the responsibility of supporting its own individual charity and the school has a highly valued tradition of volunteering and charitable activity.
We welcome you very warmly to our Open Events and Taster Days both allowing for wide participation and elite performance. We hope that you will like what you see - confident, cheerful, considerate girls enthusiastic about the myriad of opportunities their school has to offer.
For 4+, 7+, 11+ and 16+ Entry in September 2019 please visit us at our Open Events on Friday May 4th and Saturday October 6th 2018. Booking is Essential.
