Ditcham Park School is situated in the uplifting and inspirational surroundings of the South Downs National Park, near Petersfield, Hampshire, and provides school transport from the surrounding area. The grounds are extensive and they include 16 acres of playing fields as well as woodland, play areas and lawns. The impressive views over Hampshire and West Sussex to the Isle of Wight provide a beautiful and spacious natural environment. The school is unique in the area, having an age range of pupils from 2 1/2 to 16 years on the same site. The setting, buildings and staffing all help to promote a very friendly, supportive and inclusive family atmosphere.

As a co-educational school, all housed on one spectacular site, we believe Ditcham Park School makes a most significant impact and difference to children’s confidence, happiness, achievement and success, through a broad range of curricular and extra-curricular learning opportunities and experiences. Wrapped firmly within our aims and ethos are robust academic goals for each pupil; from learning to read and write in our youngest age groups to the challenge and rewards of GCSE, we have a very strong and consistent pattern of academic success. Our most recent school inspection report completed by The Independent Schools' Inspectorate graded the school excellent in 11 of the 12 inspection aspects and good in the remaining one.

One of our School Aims is to 'Prepare our pupils for the Future'. We do this by providing our pupils with the best possible exam qualifications, excellent pastoral support and opportunities and challenges outside the classroom which help build self confidence and self esteem. Our whole School Science Technology Engineering and Maths or STEM Programme has been introduced this year specifically to provide our pupils with the technological skills that are increasingly needed in a fast changing world. The School is investing in the Future. Four new Junior Classrooms have been built this academic year and a new Nursery will open in September. Plans are being advanced for an exciting Centre for the Creative Arts.

From those first days of school for new Nursery age pupils, right through to the GCSE challenges for our eldest students, the special ethos of our caring family school challenges and supports each student in their progression towards personal academic success, as well as very impressive achievements in a wide range of music and drama exams. Most of our pupils also achieve Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards and many perform at the highest level in sports as well as raising funds for charities. Our pupils leave Ditcham as happy, confident and enthusiastic students, eager to take on the challenge of their 'A' level studies at a Sixth Form College or School.
