The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection report (May 2019) found Eton End to be 'Excellent' in all areas and with strong pastoral care at the heart of all they do, excellent academic results are achieved. ISI stated that Eton End develops children's 'skills, knowledge and understanding to a high level and teaches them how to apply these skills across the curriculum'.
Eton End children are confident and articulate with strong communication skills, displaying excellent attitudes to learning from an early age. Encouraging the children to be resilient and to persevere, showing self-awareness and an ability to reflect on their progress is key. The children at Eton End display a strong sense of self-confidence, resilience and commitment to improve their learning and performance in readiness for the next stage of their lives. Empathising with peers, encouraging others and, most importantly, learning to respect one another are essential skills for life which are developed and nurtured at Eton End.
The opportunities available to the pupils at Eton End enable every child to find their strengths, both inside and outside of the classroom. With the wonderful space available and the bespoke 'Outdoor Learning Centre', the opportunities for outdoor learning are endless. An Eton End Education is not only about teaching the children a body of knowledge but also about preparing them for life in the 21st Century. This year, the school has refurbished both the Nursery, now known as 'The Nest', and Reception classrooms as the school develops calmer, inclusive and engaging learning environments for pupils.
A full after school programme of clubs and activities is available for pupils to enjoy, enabling them to develop wide ranging skills in the comfort of the school environment. Happiness and wellbeing are pivotal to an Eton End education, and the school is committed to ensuring that our happy children thrive.
