Greenfield School is found on the outskirts of Woking Town Centre, a popular commuter town known for its excellent transport links. The School has a long history within the town and has occupied numerous different urban sites, but is now proudly situated on a large, leafy plot where the children benefit from many excellent facilities.
The ethos at Greenfield is incredibly strong and helps the school uphold a culture of kindness and inclusion. Greenfield is academically non-selective but results are consistently impressive. The most able children earn places at some of the most prestigious academic schools in the country, many with accompanying scholarships, whilst those wishing to pursue the Arts frequently receive offers to study Art, Drama or Music as a scholar, or at a specialist Performing Arts School. In addition, scholarships for sport, all-round achievement and design & technology feature regularly on the honours boards.
Greenfield prides itself on delivering a contemporary education; one which prepares children academically but also cultivates a strong sense of self. In 2022, Greenfield was recognised as the TES Prep School of the Year, thanks to its progressive outlook, inclusive approach and excellent educational outcomes.
Two forms in each year group offers the perfect balance between a small school and one which has the capacity to offer the children outstanding facilities and opportunities. A large extension, completed in 2022, doubled the interior to include a 3-court sports hall, performing arts department and multi-media suite.
Greenfield offers children a relevant, varied, exciting education up to age 11 (Year 6) and has its own 50 week nursery onsite for babies 6 months+. A superb wrap-around provision offers families flexibility from 07:30 to 18:00 M-F, with holiday clubs throughout most of the school term breaks too.
Visitors are encouraged and appointments can be made during the working week.
