Holme Grange offers a unique educational experience providing the very best teaching, the highest standards of pastoral care and the widest possible range of quality extra-curricular opportunities. Set in 21 acres of Wokingham countryside, we offer an outstanding educational journey in an idyllic setting; academic excellence, amazing facilities and a caring and nurturing approach embodied by our school motto “Word Hard Play Fair”. Holme Grange is a friendly, vibrant community where people matter, results count and a passion for excellence drives everything we do.
We strive to impart confidence, an independence of mind and a "can-do" ethos so that each pupil has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We offer an inspiring and intellectually challenging education. Children are empowered to enjoy their learning, take ownership and responsibility for it and develop as lifelong learners. We are committed to the education and positive development of young people; we lead innovation in learning and are proud to be a NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education) Hub.
We offer challenge, we strive to inspire, develop confidence, provide opportunity and realise potential in every child. We are committed to providing the very best education.
The GCSE results continue on an upward trajectory, the results for 2021 were:
The school offers an extended day from 7.30am to 5.50pm, with a wide range of after school activities to choose from as well as homework prep. There is a minibus service to transport pupils to and from school with routes starting at Maidenhead, Sunningdale, Camberley and all local Wokingham areas.
Life in our school is a journey of exploration, and discovery. Academic standards are excellent. Physical health, emotional well-being, moral understanding and an appreciation of culture and the arts, science and the humanities all form part of the core curriculum. When a child leaves us, they will be well-prepared for the world – self-confident, sociable and articulate - with many special memories of their time here.
