At Knightsbridge School we believe in the power of community. Of being connected as a family within our school and being part of the community outside. At KS, as our school is known, we aim to be an unashamedly happy and vibrant school. Our ethos is based on human values – known as the KS Code – a set of shared beliefs centred on caring for each other and fulfilling our individual potential every day.
Our school has an amazing atmosphere where children can be themselves, where they can discover their many strengths and challenge their weaknesses, supported by an unbelievably dedicated team of teachers and staff. We are a 'joined-up' community at KS – each and every member of staff is connected with every child.
KS has real academic rigour; our 2024 GCSE cohort received excellent results: 78% of our students earned top grades of 9–7 (A*–A), and 100% of our students achieved grades 9–5 (A*–B) in 2024. Our Year 11 and Y10 Languages results (English, Chinese, Arabic and Latin) where 100% of our students achieved 9–7 (A*–A) and 100% of our students achieved 9–7 (A*–A) in English Literature and Language.
KS is deeply involved with the local community, it has meaningful partnerships with two local primary schools, Ashburnham Community School (ACS) and Marlborough Primary School (MPS). We raise funds for both schools and support Place2Be (in-house counselling service) activities in the schools, as well as providing access to co-curricular clubs and offering staff training.
Children learn best when they are happy. And we believe much of human happiness comes from being part of a community so we do everything we can to create a warm, vibrant community both inside and outside our school.
