ABOUT US: London Park School Clapham is the cornerstone of an exciting new family of schools offering an outstanding, innovative, and personal education for students aged 11-16 (with the option to move on to our sixth form in Belgravia afterwards).

Each LPS school will be relatively small, with its own Head, its own staff and own identity, but sharing common values and benefitting from some exciting and innovative shared activities and initiatives.

THE CURRICULUM: Transformative teaching lies at the heart of our modern, stimulating curriculum, which is designed to provide an outstanding, rounded education that prepares students for tomorrow's world. It combines student wellbeing, academic excellence and a broad base of community, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. We support and stretch and our thematic approach in Years 7-9 helps to develop higher-order thinking skills, strong teamwork, and motivated students with the analytical and problem solving skills that pay dividends in examinations and stand them in good stead for the future.

GAMES & THE ARTS: We offer both the more traditional sports such as football and netball, as well as exploring other, more alternative sports too. Our proximity to Clapham Common and other local sports grounds is a bonus. We strongly encourage creativity and have seen some great emerging talent in Art, DT, drama, and film club and have an annual whole school production and a Year 7 film which they write/film and edit.

PASTORAL CARE: Our students' wellbeing informs everything we do. We offer outstanding pastoral care to help each student develop the skills required for the challenges of modern life. Wellbeing is built into the weekly timetable and our tutorial system and thematic learning approach ensures that every student is well known, with all staff invested in the success and happiness of each child.

ENTRANCE AND EXIT: Main entrance in Year 7 (two classes) with an additional intake of one class in Year 9. Assessment via a combination of digital testing data, written and group task activities plus Head's interview. Students move on to LPS Sixth Form for A-Levels.

HEAD TEACHER'S PHILOSOPHY: Education should be modern, relevant, and prepare children for the ever-changing world in which we live. London Park Schools draws on the best of current practices in education with one eye firmly on the future with committed, innovative teachers who can transform the educational experience of our students so that they can move on to the next stage of their education with confidence.

OUTSTANDING CHARACTERISTICS: London Park School Clapham offers the best of both worlds: the care and support of a small school, with the opportunities and facilities of a larger one. A school that offers every student an outstanding, rounded education that prepares them for tomorrow’s world. A school where character, collaboration, resilience, and entrepreneurship are taught and valued.

London Park Schools is part of the wider Dukes Education family. Together we're extraordinary.
