The Curriculum
LPS Clapham offers a dynamic curriculum that emphasises creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills. Integrated and experiential learning are at the core, enabling swift progression through subjects, capturing imaginations, and fostering strong, independent learners with excellent results. The school boasts a strong design and technology programme in collaboration with Cambridge University.
Games & The Arts
Weekly sports and shared events with LPS Mayfair. The emphasis is on enabling students to find activities they enjoy, whether traditional team sports or more individual pursuits such as cycling at the velodrome, spike ball, Aussie rules football, climbing, and lacrosse. Creativity and creative thinking is embedded and encouraged right across the curriculum from the obvious – art, drama, design technology to the less immediately obvious e.g. maths and science.
Pastoral Care
As a smaller school the happiness of each child is paramount and there's a strong focus on bespoke, personal care, helping students develop skills to navigate life's complexities proactively. The school offers an excellent tutorial system and an on-site counsellor, ensuring a balance of challenge and support.
Results and Next Steps
The first set of GCSEs will be taken in 2025. Students can transition seamlessly to LPS Sixth.
