More House School provides an environment where pupils and staff are valued and supported as individuals and where their rights and dignity are maintained. Our School fosters an ethos of spiritual growth, not only for those within the Roman Catholic Church but also for those who adhere to other Christian traditions and other faiths.

The school was founded in 1953 by the Canonesses of St Augustine, at the request of a group of parents determined to send their daughters to a Catholic London day school. It occupies two interconnecting townhouses in the heart of Knightsbridge. Pupils of all faiths or none are welcome and the school has a broad cultural mix. Girls are provided with a rounded education, designed to allow individual strengths to shine through.

Academic results are good, balanced by a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Music, drama, and art are well supported and pupils regularly achieve local success in sports such as netball, football, rowing and hockey. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is popular and there is an active commitment to fundraising for charity.

Our mission at More House is to provide an environment for pupils to not only gain the qualifications they need to pursue the courses and careers of their choice, but also the confidence and self assurance to meet the challenges that lie ahead in an ever-changing world.

Academic, music, drama, art and sport scholarships are available at 11+ entry and sixth form. Bursaries are also available.
