Norfolk House School is a leading preparatory school and nursery for boys and girls aged two to eleven years in Muswell Hill, North London. With excellent results and pastoral care, our pupils have the best possible start to school as each and every child is valued and supported in the happy and warm environment.

With a blend of innovation and traditional teaching, we attain the highest academic standards, with our pupils' success achieved as a by-product of the exciting curriculum and fantastic teaching and learning.

But what makes Norfolk House special? Through each child's time at the school, we add year on year value to their education and they leave Norfolk House, heading to highly-regarded London independent senior schools as confident, articulate and independent learners with a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity about the world around them.

Preparing children to succeed is of paramount importance but the creative arts, sport and languages also play an important part of Norfolk House's curriculum. Music, Drama, Art, French and PE and Games are an exciting part of the children's weekly timetable thanks to the specialist teaching we provide in these subjects. Children can even try their hand at Latin in Year 6!

Being embedded in the Muswell Hill community, we also benefit from the use of local venues carefully selected to provide the best space to support our sporting curriculum. Children in Pre-Prep enjoy ice skating lessons at the famous Alexandra Palace ice rink on our doorstep and every child is given the opportunity to represent Norfolk House in a calendar of sporting fixtures against local independent schools.

To really understand what Norfolk House is all about, we invite you to visit. Come and meet our Headteacher, staff and most importantly, the children to see what makes Norfolk House such a great place for children to learn and grow.
