Sherfield School is a leading co-educational independent day and boarding school for children from 3 months to 18 years. It offers an outstanding, all-round academic, active and creative environment where children of all ages have the opportunity to thrive and flourish as they experience the excitement and enjoyment of learning. Set in 76 acres of idyllic parkland in Hampshire, the 12th Century manor house is at the heart of Sherfield school and boasts a wealth of history linked to the local community. Sherfield School lies nestled in beautiful countryside between Reading and Basingstoke. With good public transport links and its own minibus service, Sherfield is set in a safe, semi-rural setting, yet within close proximity to London. Pupils at Sherfield benefit from rich and diverse learning experiences, both within and outside the classroom. There are a range of high quality facilities including indoor sports hall, drama studio, two synthetic all-weather surfaces, fitness suite, recording studio and extensive woodland. The state of the art boarding house offers full, weekly and flexi boarding options, in a vibrant and engaging environment offered to domestic and international pupils. The co-curricular provision is extensive, with provision from 7.30am to 6pm for day pupils and evening and weekend activities for boarders. Sherfield runs an extraordinary enrichment programme which promotes the life-skills needed for everyday life, develop "soft-skills" that employers and universities look for, while also giving pupils the opportunity to find out more about their interests and passions. Outdoor learning is embedded in the ethos of the school, providing opportunities for pupils to learn in different contexts and develop a blend of academic and non-academic experiences.
