At Old Hall School we believe in excellent educational experiences for all. With a dynamic, aspirational and innovative curriculum we aim to build the foundations for a lifelong love of learning. Established in 1845, we are proud of our history and are well known for our exceptional all-round education both in the classroom and beyond. We offer a challenging and stimulating environment where every child is well supported to fulfil their full potential. High standards of academic achievement are realised within a broad and balanced curriculum, which embraces creativity, the arts and sport.

Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built prep school offers opportunities for learning in inspiring spaces which include a hall/theatre, a music and drama studio, an Innovation Lab, a significant number of sports pitches, a beautiful art room, a science lab, a library and an ICT suite. We are fortunate to be an integral part of the Wrekin Old Hall Trust, and share facilities and a campus with Wrekin College providing access to a swimming pool, sports halls, two artificial playing surfaces, a Chapel and other facilities.

Rated 'Excellent' in all areas in our most recent ISI inspection (June 2023) we are a forward-thinking school, evolving our educational offering to ensure that we are equipping our pupils with the right mindset and skill set to enable them to thrive both today and tomorrow. Subject specialists in Art, IT, Innovation, Spanish, Music, Drama, Science and Sport ensure a high quality of education for all. We offer a vibrant journey in learning and know that an outstanding education affords the most opportunities for a bright future.

Our extensive 'Horizons' co-curricular programme provides a host of extra opportunities for learning, and instils a sense of adventure, leadership, teamwork and decision-making, complementing what goes on in our academic curriculum. Concerts, performances and pupil-led assemblies are integral parts of the school year and every child performs at least once, encouraging all at Old Hall to develop confidence and public speaking skills.

We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming school and are fully committed to providing an enabling environment for every single one of our pupils - high quality levels of pastoral care and well-being lie at the heart of all we do and all of the decisions that we make.
