We believe that every child deserves the best possible start. Therefore, with class sizes currently averaging 10, our pupils receive one-to-one attention and the highest standards of education. Our affordable fees policy underpins our commitment to making educational excellence accessible to as many children as possible.

We build self-esteem, self-confidence and independence; preparing boys and girls aged 3-11, for a successful future in either the independent or state senior school sectors. Over the last 21 years all pupils have passed their senior school entry examination and attended their first-choice secondary school.

Our inspiring and stimulating curriculum is delivered within a nurturing, supportive and positive environment, and includes; literacy, language, mathematics, science, technology, human & social, sports, art and music. In addition, adventure trips and foreign residential weeks away, further enrich the curriculum and the children’s life-experience.

In addition, all children regularly play in the school band, perform in musicals on stage, compete in public speaking competitions and sing in the choir. Our sporting pedigree has resulted in children competing at the highest level in swimming, athletics and cross country. For the last 10 years, our pupils have competed at a national level at the Independent Schools Association championship.

We also provide a comprehensive after-school programme in which children enjoy a wide range of additional activities, including; cooking, first aid, forest school, horse whispering and cycling proficiency.

To support the needs of working parents, we provide supervised wrap-around care daily, from 8am to 6pm.

If you want to give your child the best possible start - excellence starts here.

What the parents say:

Our son joined Windrush Valley Private School Oxfordshire at the start of Year 3. His academic progress has surpassed our expectations and he has had numerous opportunities to represent the school in sport and music. The pastoral care at the school has been outstanding - a real extended family environment which has fostered a caring and confident child ready to enjoy the challenges of his next school.

Windrush Valley Private School Oxfordshire has instilled in my son and daughter, an excellent work ethic, the correct morals and perfect behaviour. This coupled with outstanding pastoral care and the knowledge my children’s physical and emotional welfare is a priority, has resulted in a primary education that I believe would be extremely hard to be bettered

Our son has flourished in his 7 years at Windrush Valley Private School Oxfordshire. He is leaving the school a confident, thoughtful and well educated boy and has had excellent teaching throughout his time there.

Admissions:

The school allows new pupil admissions all year round. New parents are welcome to come and visit the school to meet the Headteacher, teaching staff and pupils. In addition, children are invited to a trial day which gives them a first-hand taster of life at the school.
