The U11A girls’ hockey team of Ashford Prep School are heading to the Independent Association of Prep School’s National Hockey Tournament to compete for the title of National Hockey Champions.
This comes after achieving second place in the recent regional IAPS hockey tournament.
Up against a steep challenge of 24 competing schools, the team managed to win their way to the finals against West Hill Park, where the end score was 0-1 against them.
The ranking of second place means that the Ashford Prep School girls will be travelling to Rugby School in November, where they hope to return as reigning champions.
